You may have noticed that posting has slowed down significantly on this blog over the past several weeks. The reason for this is that I have been dealing with the end of a difficult hyperemesis gravidarum pregnancy and with welcoming my new little daughter into this world. She is now two weeks old and is a delightful little bundle of joy and welcome addition to our family. I hope to post more regularly again when I have both hands free at the same time and can prepare posts. Hopefully, I will be back with you all again soon!
I will be taking a hopefully short break from posting on this blog due to circumstances beyond my control that currently prevent me from being able to prepare daily posts. Please feel free to read through older posts while I am away. I hope to be back with you shortly.
I am currently battling a stubborn case of HG (hyperemesis gravidarum, ie. severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy; No, it’s not just morning sickness). As a result, I am unable to prepare daily blog posts at this time. I had hoped to be feeling better by the time all of my prescheduled posts ran out, but I am not at that place yet. A good day for me right now is being able to get dressed and maybe even have a bath or shower. Even powerful anti-nausea and vomiting drugs are only partially helpful. I hope to be feeling better soon, but until then, to learn more about HG, please visit:
Thank you for your patience at this time. I hope to be up and running again as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to mark this blog private for a while. I hope to be back as soon as I can and to connect with you all then.
